Happy Halloween weekend! There are a ton of parties to check out this weekend. But keep in mind, there's also a ton of stations that will be closed on Line 1 and 2.

Here's what you need to know.

Saturday Closures

Stc union

Subway service will start by 8 p.m. in the evening on Saturday, Oct. 26 on Line 1 between St. Clair and Union stations due to Automatic Train Control signal system installation.

Summerhill Station will be closed. All other stations will remain open for the sale of fares and connection to surface routes.

How To Navigate The Service Disruptions

Shuttle buses will operate. Wheel-Trans service will be available for customers requiring accessible service within the closure area. Customers may request the service from any TTC employee.

Sunday Closures

Lawrence by oct

There will be no subway service on Line 1 between Lawrence and Bloor-Yonge stations on Sunday, Oct. 27 for Automatic Train Control signal system installation.

Summerhill Station will be closed. All other stations will remain open for the sale of fares and connection to surface routes.

How To Navigate The Service Disruptions

Shuttle buses will operate. Wheel-Trans service will be available for customers requiring accessible service. As Lawrence Station is not yet an accessible station, customers travelling southbound on Line 1 who require an accessible connection should exit the train at York Mills Station and request Wheel-Trans service from any TTC employee.

How To Pay

If you’re paying with PRESTO during the subway closure just tap your card when you first board the TTC.

If you are transferring from the subway to a shuttle bus or from a shuttle bus to the subway, don’t tap your PRESTO card again. Unlike normal subway to bus transfers, shuttle buses do not need a second tap.

Cash and token fares will still be accepted on the shuttle bus, which will get you a transfer onto the subway (and vice versa).
