No such thing as too many holiday festivals, right?

Well, add one more to your ever-growing list of Toronto favourites because the shipper container mall known as Stackt Market  is stoked for the holidays.

The former parking lot of city-owned land has transformed the landscape at Bathurst and Front streets and offers up, starting Friday, some serious competition for the Distillery District’s Christmas Market.

Whether you are looking for some holiday-themed bubble tea or made-from-scratch gourmet donuts, this millennial playground caters to your hipster-at-heart with some very cool businesses, like Ellie Mae’s  vintage tees and nostalgic-inspired pieces.

2.

It features Toronto’s first ever Crokicurl rink (the game is a hybrid of crokinole and curling). This unique holiday experience will cost you $40.

3.

Immerse yourself in maker culture on Nov. 23 by joining some famous Toronto designers to repair your old knits, denim, or unfinished quilts. Peach Beserk legend Kingi Carpenter, Disejve, and Zoba Martin will be on site to encourage you to screen print, embellish and construct a tote bag or knit some mittens. All scraps from the workshops will be used to make quilts and then donated to homeless shelters – so bring your leftover fabric from home.

4.

The workshops are hosted in the Belgian Moon Brewery, so you can get your drink on while you work.

5.

Kid and adult friendly train rides are available here. Catch the train at Pocket Park in the North Community Lane from 2pm -6pm on Saturday’s and Sunday’s throughout the festival.
