The autumn market is officially heating up, with robust improvement across the board both on a month-over-month and year-over-year basis, as buyers rush to make their move before the foliage falls.

Detached houses continue their recovery, posting monthly gains of 41 per cent, and up 27 per cent from this time last year, a sharp turnaround from the -35 per cent decline recorded in the first week of May.

Semi-detached homes have had a booming week, up a whopping 148 per cent from last month, and 24 . per cent year over year, followed by townhouses, at 12 per cent and 46 per cent respectively.

Condos for sale in downtown Toronto continue to see the slowest growth, but did experience an uptick of four per cent from August to September, and 11 per cent from 2017. A steady improvement, that’s nothing to sneeze at.
