This August, there's no shortage of food festivals to add to your calendar. Every week offers something new, from food trucks to street festivals to ethnic eats.

Toronto Food Truck Festival

Head up to Woodbine Park for live-eating challenges, local artists and plenty of cold beers. This year's food truck festival includes dozens of delicious vendors. No need to worry about leaving anyone out, there's options for all types of foodies, including those who are gluten-free, vegan and halal. Be sure to bring cash with you though. While there is no admission, you will have to buy your own food at this event.

Toronto Rum Festival

An extension of Carnival, this food festival will showcase some of the best rums from the Caribbean. Come thirsty!

Taste of India

Check out the largest Indian food utopia in Toronto. This year's event will include 50+ vendors and restaurants. The festival will also showcase musical acts and dance performances.

Feast of St. Lawrence

This two-day event offers something for everyone. On Friday night, reserve a ticket for a dinner under the stars catered by top chefs from the St. Lawrence neighbourhood. On Saturday, explore food stalls and live performances at the world-famous St. Lawrence Market.

Taste of the Danforth

Arguably the city’s most popular street festival, Taste of the Danforth welcomes 1.6 million attendees every year. This year, attendees can take in all sorts of multicultural performances, multiethnic eats and all sorts of other entertainment.

Waterfront Night Market

This Pan-Asian night market brings 150+ food, beverage and lifestyle vendors to Ontario Place for one epic weekend. This year’s event is expected to bring in 120,000 hungry spectators.

Grace Jerk Fest

Now in its 18th year, JerkFest celebrates all things jerk cuisine and Caribbean culture. Join the 60,000 people expected to turn up at this three-day event where you'll get an authentic taste of Caribbean food and music.

Beer, Bourbon & BBQ

Enjoy craft beer, bourbon cocktails and the best barbecue dishes in the city at this epic summer BBQ. The event will also feature fun outdoor games, live country music and a mechanical bull.

Vegandale

Calling all vegans and vegan-curious, this ethical festival is back for another year. This year’s event will include over 100 vendors serving up 100 per cent vegan food, drink and merchandise. Attendees will also get to enjoy music, art and games.

Sweetery Toronto Food Festival

This two-day event offers the sweetest experience. Celebrate the delicious world confectionary delights while supporting the Second Harvest Community Charity. In addition to showcasing dozens of talented culinary artists, this event will also feature its own movie night right in the heart of David Pecaut Square.

Taste of Manila

The largest Filipino food festival in Toronto is taking over Wilson Ave. once again. Try classic Filipino treats like lumpia, halo halo, lechon and pancit while enjoying performances and creative works from Filipino performers and creators.

Toronto Chinatown Festival

Stop by the 19th annual Chinatown Festival for a traditional dragon and lion dance, arts and culture booths and even kung fu performances. This year's event also extends out into the neighbourhood. Join professor Leo Chan on a historical Chinatown walking tour from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Panamerican Food & Music Festival

An empanada competition, a Pan American parade and an orchestras festival are just three of the many amazing events going on at this year's Panamerican Food and Music Festival. Back for its seventh year, the festival will showcase the growing cultural identity of Canada, the Caribbean and 41 countries across North, Central and South America.

Toronto Cider Festival

This award-winning festival is back for its fifth year. Try over 100 types of cider from regions across Canada while sampling mouth-watering dishes, listening to live entertainment and participating in fun contests and games all along Toronto’s waterfront.

Leslieville Beerfest '19

When: Aug. 24Hours: 1 p.m. to 8 p.m.Where: 1173 Dundas St. E.Cost: Starting at $25

Support local artisans, craft beer makers and restaurants at this annual street party. For $25, guests will get a commemorative sampling mug and three beer tokens. Dog-owners will be happy to hear this is the only dog-friendly beer festival in the city, so bring out your pup while you sip on some brewskis.

Korean Harvest Festival

Enjoy and discover Korean snacks, treats, drinks and artists at this annual festival. Live shows scheduled for this year include Tae Kwon Do demonstrations, Dance & Drumming acts, K-Pop performances, as well as a masked singer competition.

Afro Caribbean Vegan Market

This free event is about more than food, it's also a market full of vegan-friendly health, beauty, clothing and art vendors. Sample products and sit in on information sessions to learn more about how to live a healthy vegan lifestyle.

Caskapalooza

When: Aug. 28Hours: 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.Where: CRAFT Beer Market - 1 Adelaide St. W.Cost: $25

Sample over 30 unique casks from local breweries during this fun night of food, drink and live entertainment. Guests will receive 12 sample beer tokens with each $25 ticket.

Rib Jerk and BBQ Fest

This four-day festival in collaboration with One Love Music Festival is North America's largest Caribbean music and food festival. In addition to incredible food vendors, guests will get to take in some of the biggest names in Reggae, Dance Hall and Soca.

Toronto Caribbean Street Food Festival

When: Aug. 31Hours: 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.Where: Daniel's Spectrum - 585 Dundas St. E.Cost: Free!

Don't worry. Eat happy. Join CIBC and JamaicanEats magazine for the first-ever Toronto Caribbean Street Food Festival. This event is free to attend, but for $40, guests can opt-in to a VIP experience that includes Caribbean-style arancini, Haitian saltfish and beef patties and rum and Red Stripe pairings.
