Toronto Easter Weekend 2019: What’s Open And Closed In The City

Easter weekend is finally here! On Friday, April 19, most Canadians will have the day off and a lucky few may even get Monday, April 22 off, too.

To help you navigate what's open and what's closed this long weekend, we’ve compiled a handy list to keep you and your family from going stir crazy. Good Friday is observed across most of the country, excluding Quebec. In Quebec, Easter Monday is typically observed, however, employers can choose to give their employees the day off either on Good Friday or Easter Monday.While most businesses will be closed in and around the city on Friday, there are a few exceptions.
