Toronto Beer Week is nine days of fun, beer, and events, featuring Toronto’s best breweries, pubs, and of course — beer.
From Sep. 14 to 22 you’ll be presented with countless beery (well, it’s a word now) options — many of those will be FREE events — throughout Toronto.
TBW showcases authentically brewed and flavourful beers, the talented brewers who create them, and the licensees who proudly support them.
We’ve collected this year’s featured breweries for the festivities so you can get a taste of what to expect:
Henderson Brewing in the Junction Triangle delivers high-quality beer to Toronto. Henderson’s Best is inspired by Toronto’s first brewer and its unique monthly Ides beers celebrate Toronto stories. (And heck, feel free to celebrate Toronto Storeys too!)
Event: Daily complimentary brewery tours to get the full behind-the-scenes look at how great beer is brewed. All tours at 5 p.m. daily.
Muskoka Brewery handcrafts premium beers as unique and refreshing as the region they’re from. Venture off the beaten path with Muskoka Brewery, established in 1996.
Event: On Saturday, Sep. 22, $60 gets you five pints at five locations ventured to by bus. The tour starts at noon at C’est What bar, then rolls east, north, and finishes in the west near Ossington Station. Plus, get a swag bag of goodies to take home.
Lost Craft’s mission is to make craft beer more approachable and was awarded Best in Show at the Ontario Brewing Awards. Lost Craft is proudly independent, community-oriented, and brewed in Toronto.
One of the leading players in Ontario Craft Beer since 2005. Nickel Brook consistently brews award-winning traditional ales and is a leader in sour and barrel-aged brews.
Event: Medieval Madness Pinball Tournament. Ten dollars gets you four attempts to set the highest score on this classic table, plus free play on all other games all night. Four unique Nickel Brook beers will be on special, plus samples of some rarities and one-offs, giveaways, and some EPIC prizes for the top players. First place wins two Toronto Maple Leafs tickets.
An independently owned and operated brewery, GLB is known throughout Ontario as a craft brewery that pushes boundaries to create unique and distinct beers.
Event: Fourth Annual Great Lakes Brewery Pig Roast. Besides the beautiful barbecue, there will be live music, a local vendor business market, and a beer garden.
Big Rock has been at the forefront of craft beer since 1985. Today, their variety of beers and ciders are passionately brewed in Calgary, Toronto, and Vancouver, offering quality craft beer nationwide.
Event: On Sep. 22, Big Rock will be dishing out all sorts of ribby goodness from smoked St. Louis spare ribs to smoked beef ribs to braised and barbecue game ribs. You can wash it all down with Big Rock’s special American brown ale, brewed just for this event.
Thornbury Village Cider House and Brewery is proud to produce award-winning, premium quality, Ontario craft ciders and beer.
Event: Thornbury Throwdown! Get your burlesque on Friday, Sep. 22 with $7 Thornbury pints. With the live DJs and the painted burlesque dancers, this is going to be quite the Friday night.
Born in Chicago and brewed in Toronto, Goose Island is the Canadian home for Chicago’s most renowned and respected beer company.
Event: Lager Day on September 22. Ontario has some of the best traditional and boundary-pushing lager producers in North America, and Goose Island will be featuring a diverse list of beers from the following breweries at Lager Day – Amsterdam, Burdock, Creemore Springs, Godspeed, Goose Island Brewhouse, Muddy York, Oxbow, Rhythm and Brews, Rorschach, Sawdust City, Side Launch, Stone City Ales, and Tooth and Nail.
People’s Pint began as a brewing collective and continue to collaborate with other brewers to brew new and interesting beers.
Event: Colouring and Charcuterie Night on Sep. 20 at 4 p.m. This the perfect event for the beer drinker who’s young at heart. Custom colouring sheets will be provided, as well as to order charcuterie platters all paired with delicious craft beers
The Indie Alehouse is a small craft brewery and brewpub making bold flavourful ales in the West End of Toronto.
Event: Friday, Sep. 14 from noon to 11 p.m. Indie Alehouse will be releasing bottles of Spadina Monkey Cherry Foedre aged sour. It will be available in the bottle shop and on tap at the brewpub.
Lot 30’s industrial history and rich cultural tapestry inspire the authentic and sometimes adventurous spirit behind its beers.
Event: Join Lot 30 to start Toronto Beer Week on Friday Sep. 14 at 4 p.m. with a flight of ours sours for only $10 all night. Full tap line up and food specials also available all night.
This is a family-run, employee-owned craft brewery. Beau’s brews certified organic beer with honest consideration for the environment and local communities, delivered with a true sense of friendly relationship.
Event: Beer Week Kickoff PJ Party. On Friday Sep. 14 party until 4 a.m. in your comfiest jammies with Beau’s samples on the back patio.

Event: On Sep. 20 meet The Disruptors, presented by Samuel Adams, a celebration of doing things differently. This one-of-a-kind pop-up shop in downtown Toronto will showcase five inspiring and innovative small businesses that are breaking down barriers and pushing boundaries.
