Butter tarts are a quintessential Canadian treat, which is why they’re so deserving of their own festival! For the second year in a row, this event will feature delicious butter tarts from a variety of Ontario vendors. Come with a sweet tooth and leave with a bag of goodies.

4. Financial Self-Care Panel

You wouldn’t necessarily equate self-care with financial planning, but that’s what this panel discussion is all about. You’ll learn tips on budgeting, how to enhance your financial portfolio, money mantras, and more from community leaders such as Mina Yun, a personal trainer and financial advisor, and Michael Santonato, author of Money for Millennials: How To Make It, Keep It and Grow It.

5. Toronto Pug Grumble

This monthly gathering at the Dog Bowl in Trinity Bellwoods Park celebrates pugs of all kinds! Whether you’re a pug owner or a pug admirer, head out to this fun meet-up for your daily dose of grumbling cuteness. All pug breeds including Buggs, Chugs, Jugs, Puggles and Muggles are welcome!

6. The Leslieville Flea Market

The Leslieville Flea Market in the Distillery District sells vintage, upcycled, and antique goods. If you’re looking for some truly unique furniture, artisan work, or collectibles, this is the place to go. With Mother’s Day right around the corner, this could be the perfect place to find a special handcrafted gift!

7. Community Sundays at the MOCA

Where: Museum of Contemporary Art Toronto — 158 Sterling Rd.When: Sunday from 10 a.m to 2 p.m.Cost: Free!

You can thank TD Bank Group for the free admission at the MOCA this Sunday! Here you can view the extraordinary works of over 1,100 Canadian and international artists, play in Andreas Angelidakis’s DEMOS (pictured above), and even participate in a pilates + yoga class as part of MOCA’s wellness series. The latter is a pay-what-you-want class with a $10 minimum, that starts at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday.

8. Worldwide Vegan Bake Sale: Toronto Edition

9. “Gravity”: An IMAX 3D Experience

You’ll feel like you’re the one stranded in outer space when you watch “Gravity” in IMAX 3D at the Cinesphere. If you haven’t seen this film before, it stars Sandra Bullock and George Clooney as medical engineer Dr. Ryan Stone and veteran astronaut Matt Kowalsky as they set out on their first shuttle mission. This space thriller will definitely keep you on the edge of your seat!

10. Weekend Warrior RYU Underground Bootcamp

Get a full body workout with trainer Jermel Pierre, who specializes in resistance training and group dynamics. His Bootcamp class will focus on functional movements to help tone your body.
