Maple Leafs Holding Outdoor Practice at Nathan Phillips Square tomorrow

Calling all Toronto hockey fans, if you've ever wanted to catch a Leafs practice IRL, you'll be able to this week.

And it's outside.

On Thursday, January 9, your boys in blue will be holding an open-to-the-public outdoor practice at one of Toronto's most iconic rinks -- Nathan Phillips Square.

The morning skate will kick off at 11 am and will be followed by a three-on-three player tournament at 12 pm, followed by a public skate at 2:30 pm.

But don't sweat it if you can't make it out on Thursday because the fun will continue all weekend long. On Friday, January 10, hockey fans can check out the Toronto First Responders Game, which will be coached by Maple Leafs alumni. Puck drop is at 12 pm.

On Saturday, January 10, the PWHPA Skills Competition will take over Nathan Phillips Square at 10 am, featuring 20 players from the PWHPA including Canadians and US Olympians. At 11 am, attendees can enjoy mascot games, which will kick off at 11:30 am.

Then, on Sunday, January 11, at 10:30 am the OUA all-star skills competition will take place, which will be followed by Maple Leafs alumni playing a game of shinny at 11 am. Finally, hockey fans can watch the Leafs take on the Panthers on a large video screen that will be set up at Nathan Phillips Square at 7 pm.

And if that wasn't enough to convince you to head to Nathan Phillips Square, there will also be free skate rentals and public skating, giveaways and prizes, special activations, and music and entertainment all weekend long.
