The Toronto Regional Real Estate Board has compiled a property tax deferral schedule for GTA communities during COVID-19.

Due to the pandemic, communities throughout Ontario are allowing property owners to defer their tax payments to varying degrees. In Burlington, for instance, a straight 60-day deferral has been implemented so that homeowners and businesses won't have to pay property taxes until June 30. While in Newmarket, the Property Tax Relief Program is still under review, but the city will be waiving all late payment fees and interest on all property tax accounts for the March 26 and April 28 installments.
