Monday, February 18, marks Family Day in Toronto. Since most Ontarians have the day off, we've compiled a list of places that are open and closed for the holiday to keep you and your family entertained all day long.
Family Day is not a national holiday, but it is observed in other provinces including New Brunswick, Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan and British Columbia. While most businesses will be closed in and around the city on Monday, there are a few exceptions.

Most grocery chains will be closed on Family Day. However, there are a few exceptions including:

Transit And Traffic
The TTC will operate on a holiday schedule.
If you plan on exploring the city this long weekend, the TTC is offering a TTC Day/Family Pass. For $10 a day, groups of up to six people can travel unrestricted from the start of service until 5:30 a.m. the next morning. TTC Day passes limit rides to two adults and no more than four children.
