Cineplex's Erin Mills 'Junxion' Boosts Community's Real Estate Prospects

A one-hundred million dollar redevelopment at Mississauga's Erin Mills Town Centre is set to become a landmark in the city and transform the surrounding area. With spectacular amenities and a selection of more than 185 shops and services in the shopping centre, this project is fantastic news for local real estate.

Inside this centre, Cineplex is opening an entertainment complex called Junxion, which will boast a theatre-meets-food hall experience alongside live events spaces. With a completion date set for late 2020, the complex will have six auditoriums as well as a lobby for performances and events.

There will be a games area with classic video and redemption games plus VR games for all your retro and futuristic needs. On top of this, the live events stage will offer a feast of programming every night, which will include trivia and music. The food hall will have indoor food trucks, a bar with craft beer and wine, as well as a patio for outdoor moving screenings and live televison events. Cineplex will open other Junxion locations across Canada, beginning with Kildonan Place in Winnipeg.

With so much happening in and around Erin Mills Town Centre, it's no surprise that real estate prospects are promising. The 19-storey tower, designed by Kirkor Architects is part of the developer's Erin Mills community, which had been under construction since late 2016. An affordable housing unit inside The Arc was built as part of a partnership with Habitat for Humanity Halton-Mississauga.
