Toronto is plagued with high rent, and it doesn’t look like prices will fall any time soon. With a lack of supply and a significant portion of condos owned by investors, the cost of renting in the city is only going up.

For the seventh month straight, Toronto has topped a national rent report by Rentals.ca and Bullpen Research & Consulting. An average one bedroom now goes for a whopping $2,266. That’s roughly $130 more than the reported average in January.
