TTC Subway Closures: Several Stations On Line 1 Closed (Nov. 9-10)

Can you believe it’s already snowed in Toronto? Yikes! As you plan your commute this weekend, stay informed about the weather AND the tons of stations shutting down on Line 1.

Here’s what you need to know.

Saturday Closures

What’s Closed

There will be no subway service on Line 1 between St Clair West and King stations on Saturday, Nov. 9 for Automatic Train Control signal system installation.

How To Navigate The Service Disruptions

Shuttle buses will operate. Wheel-Trans service will be available for customers requiring accessible service. As King Station is not yet an accessible station, customers travelling southbound on Line 1 who require an accessible connection should exit the train at Queen Station and request Wheel-Trans service from any TTC employee.

Sunday Closures

There will be no subway service on Line 1 between Bloor-Yonge and Osgoode stations on Sunday, Nov. 10 for Automatic Train Control signal system installation.

How To Navigate The Service Disruptions

Shuttle buses will operate. Wheel-Trans service will be available for customers requiring accessible service within the closure area. Customers may request Wheel-Trans service from any TTC employee.
