TTC early nighttime closures are back with two stations shutting down early four nights this week.

Starting on Monday night at 11 p.m., service will cease between Sheppard West and Wilson stations due to track work. Service between the two stations will pick back up at 6 a.m. the following morning. Track work is scheduled to end in time for regular service on Friday morning.

Here are all the details…

What’s Closed

There will be no subway service on Line 1 between Sheppard West and Wilson stations between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. from Monday to Thursday due track work. Sheppard West and Wilson are the only stations affected by this early closure.

How To Navigate The Closure

Shuttle buses will operate along the normal subway route. Buses will stop at all the regular subway station stops, just outside the typical zone. Since Wilson station is not an accessible station, customers travelling northbound on Line 1 should exit at Lawrence West station and request Wheel-Trans service.

How To Pay

If you’re paying with PRESTO during the subway closure just tap your card when you first board the TTC.

If you are transferring from the subway to a shuttle bus or from a shuttle bus to the subway, don’t tap your PRESTO card again. Unlike normal subway to bus transfers, shuttle buses do not need a second tap.

Cash and token fares will still be accepted on the shuttle bus, which will get you a transfer onto the subway (and vice versa).

Normal service will resume by 6 a.m. each following morning.
