While you can certainly watch the game at home on Sportsnet and TSN, it’s always more fun watching with a crowd.

Below, we rounded up some of our favourite places across the GTA that are playing the Raptors vs. Warriors NBA Finals.

Durham Region

Cineplex Odeon – Ajax

MLSE has teamed up with Cineplex to offer Raptors fans a chance to watch the NBA Finals on the big screen. Thirty-three theatres across Canada will host Raptors viewing parties with tickets available starting on Wednesday, May 29 at 6 p.m. The free tickets will only be available for in-person pickup. Tickets will be limited to two per person, per game.

Drums N Flats – Ajax

Every seat in this two-storey music and sports bar is a good seat. With six colossal 14-foot projection screens and dozens of HD flat screens spread out across the bar, this is easily the best place in Ajax to watch the game.

Pickering Recreation Complex – Pickering

Head to Jurassic Park East to watch the game on the big screen. The City of Pickering received special permission from MLSE to show the NBA Finals at their recreation complex.

Halton Region

SilverCity – Burlington

Cineplex Cinemas Winston Churchill – Oakville

The Rad Brother’s Sports Bar and Tap House – Milton

A great spot to watch the game, The Rad Brother’s are celebrating the Raptors first NBA Finals with a carnivorous feast. Simply Smoked barbecue will supply the meat for Game 1, but you don’t have to eat meat to watch the game here. There will be plenty of drinks and other delicious dishes and specials available for purchase.

Peel Region

Garden Square – Brampton

Celebration Square – Mississauga

The cities of Brampton and Mississauga have obtained permission from MLSE to set up Jurrasic Park-style viewing parties in their very own city squares. Both venues will show all games of the NBA Finals for free.

Onyxx Sports Bar & Grill

With plenty of seating and screens all around, this is one of the best places to watch the game in Brampton. With menu items like Dry Rub Buffalo & Mango wings and Dragon Stout BBQ sauce, you’ll have a hard time choosing just one thing to eat off of this menu.

York Region

Cineplex Cinemas – Vaughn

Rally Restaurant Bar – North York

Watch the game while eating half-price wings at Rally Restaurant. The popular sports bar (which also has a Yonge St. location) will be showing all four currently scheduled games at both venues.

Aaniin Community Centre – Markham

Watch Game 1 of the NBA Finals at the Aaniin Community Centre and Library. Be sure to arrive early if you’re planning on taking advantage of the facility’s parking.

The Corner Bank – Scarborough

This massive pool hall has multiple big-screen TVs that are perfect for watching the game on. The Corner Bank will also offer yet-to-be-determined food and drink specials during the series.
