The snow is gone and the spring market has kicked into high gear with sales up across every home type, on a month-over-month and year-over-year basis.

Demand for houses for sale in Toronto continues to heat up with a total of 97 units sold. An increase of 83 per cent from the same time period last month, and up 15 per cent from 2018. Semi-detached houses also saw similar increases with 36 sales, up 227 per cent month-over-month and 9 per cent year-over-year. Meanwhile, townhouse sales rose 92 per cent and 19 per cent, with a total of 25 changing hands. The condo segment is also experiencing a strong comeback from recent flagging activity with 172 units sold, a robust improvement of 132 per cent from last month, and up 22 per cent from last year.
