It’s time to break out your green gear — St. Patrick’s Day is right around the corner!

Toronto is known for throwing some pretty stellar parties, so you know the city will be going all out for the Irish holiday on Sunday, March 17. From club crawls to Bootcamp & Beers, here are 10 St. Paddy’s Day events you won’t want to miss this weekend.

1. St. Patrick's Day Party at Toronto's Newest Brewpub

Where: The Six Brewing Co. — 777 Dundas St. W.When: Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m.Cost: Free!

The Six Brewing Co. isn’t joking around when it says its party will run all day long! The event, which will go until the wee hours of Monday morning, will include beer and drink specials, food and live music. The event is free, but get there early to secure a good spot!

2. King Street Club Crawl 2019

Where: Toybox Nightclub 473 Adelaide St. W.When: Saturday from 8 p.m. to 3 a.m.Cost: $25

There’s no better way to celebrate the Irish holiday than by doing a classic club crawl. This wristband gets you VIP entry (and no cover charge) at four of King Street’s hottest parties: Toybox Nightclub, Spice Route, Brassaii Nightclub, and Cure Nightclub.

3. Green Eggs & Beer

Where: Assembly Chef’s Hall — 111 Richmond St. W.When: Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.Cost: Free!

In partnership with Lost Craft beer, Assembly Chef’s Hall is hosting a fun St. Paddy’s shindig. Although the event is free, it’s on a first-come, first-serve basis, so come early and hungry to celebrate the day with Irish-themed food and drinks!

4. Guinness SPD

Where: Rebel Toronto 11 Polson StWhen: Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. (entry time varies depending on your ticket)Cost: $15-$34

Guinness SPD is dubbed Toronto’s largest St. Patrick’s Day party for a good reason. The celebration boasts a free pancake breakfast, a beer hall (transformed from Rebel’s mainstage), multiple DJs, live bands, Irish dancers and interactive games.

5. Bootcamp & Beer

Where: Junction Craft Brewing — 150 Symes Rd.When: Sunday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.Cost: $22-$52

Who says St. Paddy’s Day has to be all about the booze? Sneak in a workout and kick back with a brew at this event that combines the best of both worlds. In addition to beer, 15-minute chair massages will be available following the bootcamp class, provided by WellCalm.

6. St. Patrick’s Day at the Roundhouse

Where: Steam Whistle Brewing — 255 Bremner Blvd.When: Saturday from 12 p.m. to 1 a.m.Cost: $20+

Beer isn’t the only thing on tap at this party. In addition to Steam Whistle, there will also be a full bar rail which, of course, includes Jameson Irish Whiskey. Drink tickets are $5 each (cash only). There will also be traditional Irish entertainment in the form of Irish dancers and Celtic musicians such as Brogue and Poor Angus.

7. Celtic Thunder Comedy: St Patrick's Day Special

Where: 120 Diner 120 Church St.When: Sunday at 9:30 p.m.Cost: $15

Irish comedian Fiona O'Brien headlines this comedy show, which also features  Kyle Brownrigg as the host, and stand-up comics Gerard Joyce and Cormac McGuinness. Those who love to laugh will be in for a real treat!

8. The Official St. Patrick's Experience 2019

Where: Dora Keogh Irish Pub — 141 Danforth Ave.When: Friday from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m.Cost: $20

The Ireland Park Foundation wants to give people a chance to experience an authentic St. Patrick’s Day party. Although that means there will be no green beads or plastic hats in sight, there will be authentic Irish food and craic (fun and entertainment). There will also be music courtesy of Boosie Fade.

9. Firefly Pub’s St. Patrick’s Day Party

Where: The 519 519 Church St.When: Saturday from 7:30 p.m. to 1 a.m.Cost: $20 in advance, $25 at the door

This inclusive party for the LGBTQ2S community will include live entertainment, food and dancing in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day. It will also feature special guests Robert Ball & Band, DJ LL Cool Wei, and DJ Asuka Jade, as well as a seafood bar and a whiskey tasting.

10. Shamrock Fest 2019

Where: Cabin Five (The Fifth Social Club) — 225 Richmond St. W.When: Saturday from 10 p.m. to 3 a.m.Cost: $10-$15

Deck yourself out in green and head out to the annual Shamrock Fest! The party will have Irish dancers, a “massive green confetti showcase,” live entertainment and guest DJs. Dance the night away to top 40 tracks, hip-hop, R&B, reggae, house and EDM.

Toronto
