With another weekend of snow in the forecast, we don't blame you for wanting to stay in this weekend. But staying in doesn't have to mean staying home.

This weekend's list of cheap and fun things to do in Toronto includes plenty of indoor events like museum tours, conferences and festivals. And, for those brave enough to venture outdoors, we even included a few suggestions that are worth bundling up for.

1. Toronto Through The Eyes Of Women Artists

Take a closer look at the work of Canadian artists like Marion Long, Paraskeva Clark and Doris McCarthy. This special exhibit highlights the Toronto-depicted work of women artists over the past 160 years.

2. Reading Buddies For Families

Toronto Humane Society's Reading Buddies program pairs up new readers with shelter animals who are "all ears." Families are encouraged to register in advance for a 40-minute session, which includes 30 minutes of reading time. Books are available on-site, but children can also bring their own books to read to the animals.

3. City Building Expo 2019

Where: The Daniels Building - 1 Spadina Cres.When: Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.Cost: $0 - $20

Future and practicing city builders come together at this annual event. Collaborate, share ideas and network with students and industry professionals. In addition to attending panel discussions and networking sessions, participants will also get the chance to solve Toronto's density problems through an interactive design workshop.

4. Women Empowering Women Conference

Where: Skills For Change - 791 St. Clair Ave. W.When: Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.Cost: Free!

This one-day women's conference helps empower women to build stronger communities. Participants will enjoy a series of workshops, presentations and group working sessions. Child-care services are also available on-site for children between the ages of 19 months and five years.

5. March Meditation at Saje Sherway

Where: Sherway Gardens - 25 The West MallWhen: Sunday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.Cost: Free!

Start your morning off right with calming meditation at Saje Sherway Gardens. Participants will be treated to a guided meditation session, refreshments and a private shopping experience.

6. For The Record: An Idea Of The North

This free interactive mixed media exhibit highlights the role of sound systems and DJs in hip hop culture and Toronto's music scene.

7. Toronto Irish Film Festival

Take in the best of Irish cinema this weekend at the ninth annual Toronto Irish Film Festival. This year the festival will showcase 22 films from Irish filmmakers. The festival sells out every year, so be sure to pick up tickets in advance.

8. Toronto Winter Brewfest

Toronto Winter Brewfest is back for the fourth year. The craft beer festival includes 150 different brews from Ontario and Quebec.

9. Winter Stations

Winter Stations is in its fifth year! Stroll along the city's beach from Woodbine to Victoria Park and discover all of the stunning temporary art installations. This year's theme is migration.

10. Toronto Light Festival

TO Light Fest is back for another year. Swing by the Distillery District to take in the lights for one last weekend. The festival comes to an end on Mar. 3.
