With the Santa Clause Parade coming to town you would think the TTC Subway Closures would be a little nicer.

Unfortunately, that’s not the case for Scarborough public transit users.

Take a look at the brand new closures happening in Scarborough this weekend:

What’s Closed

There will be no service on Line 3 Scarborough (Kennedy to McCowan stations) on November 17 due to track and infrastructure work. That includes McCowan, Scarborough Centre, Midland, Ellesmere, Lawrence East, and Kennedy stations.

How To Navigate The Closure

Shuttle buses will operate between Scarborough Centre and Kennedy stations during this closure, McCowan will not be covered.

Wheel trans will be available at all stations.

How To Pay

If you’re paying with PRESTO during the subway closure, just tap your card when you first board the TTC.

If you are transferring from the subway to a shuttle bus or from a shuttle bus to the subway don’t tap your PRESTO card again. Unlike normal subway to bus transfers, shuttle buses do not need a second tap.

Cash and token fares will still be accepted on the shuttle bus, which will get you a transfer onto the subway (and vice versa).

All normal service will resume on the Monday after the weekend.
