In a city where multi-million dollar condo listings and bidding wars are the norm, it's always interesting to learn about condo sales that occur before they are publicly listed. Which was the case for a stunning lower penthouse in Yorkville's prestigious 133 Hazelton.

Closing at $7 million, the 2-bedroom lower penthouse, which received multiple offers, not only went for $2,350 per square foot, which Forest Hill Real Estate Inc. Broker Matthew Adam Cracower says is a record in the building, it also sold off-market.

According to Cracower, the condo sold at 11:30 pm on Sunday, March 1, just 30 minutes before it was set to hit the MLS market. Typically, properties such as this sit on the market for 1-6 months or longer at this price point, said Cracower.

And while this condo isn't necessarily cheap, given its size and sought after address, it seems like somewhat of a steal, at least for a certain type of buyer.

In any case, the penthouse offers some impressive attributes that most condo owners can only dream about: it measures nearly 3,000 square feet, with approximately 650 square feet between one south-facing terrace and two balconies facing west and north — both of which can be accessed from the master bedroom — offering the owner incredible views of the city skyline.

Decorated and designed by Brian Gluckstein, the pad has huge windows, luxe finishes, and custom flooring throughout, reminding you more of an elegant home in Forest Hill.

This condo truly has it all and then some, including a sprawling great room with a gas fireplace, a den complete with stunning views of the Toronto skyline and custom bookshelves, a spacious kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances and generous wine fridge, multiple seating areas (because, why not), and a swoon-worthy walk-in closet and dressing room in the master bedroom.

Not to mention the entire home is fully automated with SAVANT, an Apple-based home-automation system that controls all window blinds, lighting, audiovisual, heating/AC, and security system.
