With minimal Toronto road closures and absolutely no scheduled TTC closures this weekend, it seems like the City of Toronto is still in holiday mode.

Aside from construction on York St. there are no other whole-weekend closures. But, thanks to a series of sporting events like the  Canucks vs. The Leafs and Pacers vs. The Raptors on Saturday and Sunday, you can expect minor delays around York and Bremner.

Thankfully, none of these road closures look as bad as Thursday's Union Station madness.

York St. Closure

Effective: From Friday, Jan. 4 at 7 a.m. to Thursday, Apr. 30, 2020 at 11 p.m.

  • York St. closed from Bremner Blvd. to Lake Shore Blvd. W.

Sports Closures

Effective: Jan. 4 from 10 p.m. to 11 p.m., Jan. 5 from 9:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. and Jan. 6 from 10 p.m. to 11 p.m.

  • Bremner Blvd. closed from Lower Simcoe St. to Lake Shore Blvd W.
  • York St. closed from Front St. W. to Lake Shore Blvd. W.
