Uber has announced that on Tuesday, November 6, anyone with an Uber account (in markets where Uber is available) can use its app to quickly find their polling place. What’s more, voters can also book a ride to get their polling station — for free.
There are no strings attached and the promotion will be available to all Uber users.

With election day fast-approaching in Toronto, would free Uber rides to polling stations help engage more Torontonians in our civic election come October 22?
Voter turnout for mayoral elections has been historically low.
Is a free Uber ride to a polling station more likely to get you to cast your vote?
Maybe it’s worth tweeting this story to Uber to see if the company can help Toronto’s democratic process too.
