TTC subway closures and Toronto seem to have an on again off again relationship. Toronto may get a break from the originally scheduled TTC closures on Line 1 this weekend — but there will be a later opening time of a portion of Line 2.
So what initially looked to be an easy weekend commute throughout Toronto, has now been presented with a bit of a kink. Considering these kinks seems to be presenting themselves on a weekly basis, they should probably come to be expected by now. (We said expected, not enjoyed.)
Now, here’s exactly what you can expect …
A portion of Line 2 between St. George and Broadview stations will be closed until 12 p.m. this Sunday for maintenance on the Prince Edward (Bloor) Viaduct.

Shuttle buses will run between St. George and Broadview stations throughout the morning.
Sherbourne and Bay stations will be closed until 12 p.m. but all other stations will remain open for fare sales and transfers to surface routes.
Wheel-Trans will be available upon request from any station.
