The market experienced a hopeful uptick in the first week of June, but that robust activity has slacked.

Sales are down across every home type this week, indicating softer spring conditions will persist throughout early summer.

Sales are generally flat compared to the same time period in May, with the exception of Toronto condos.

Toronto condos cooled 23 per cent. It seems today’s buyers have houses on the brain.

Detached home demand actually posted year-over-year gains of two per cent this week, further suggesting the gap continues to narrow from 2017 numbers.

Townhouses for sale in Toronto, as well as semi-detached homes, each fell 15 per cent from last week’s numbers, but are up modestly from May, at two and three per cent, respectively.
