People across the nation (and nations) have been propping up hockey sticks outside their doors in honour of the 16 Humboldt Broncos players and support staff who lost their lives in the devastating collision in Saskatchewan.

(The 16th death was confirmed Wednesday: Dayna Brons, the Broncos 24-year-old trainer.)

Another movement of solidarity has been growing through Canada, as well. Now, the City of Toronto asks you to join and show your support to the families of the Humboldt Broncos, by wearing a hockey jersey or green and gold today.

Let it be known, and spread the word, it is officially Jersey Day in Toronto.
