Who says you can’t find a good condo for under $500,000 in Toronto? Well, you may find one under $500K, but still pay more than that …

This condo at 16 Yonge St. was listed at $499,000. But after receiving 27 offers (not a typo) — after only seven days on the market — it sold for $586,500.

Even its listing agent, Nancie McLeod, told The Globe And Mail that receiving 27 offers was very unexpected. Given the building’s location and amenities however, potential buyers showed a lot of excitement.
