Just when you thought the real estate market couldn’t get any crazier, along comes 200 Russell Hill—a new condo from Hirsh Development Group—and its starting price of $2.4 million.

That’s right.

Prices at this Forest Hill condo start at more than $2 million, making it one of the city’s priciest pre-construction condos on the market.

Located in leafy Forest Hill according to the marketing material (though locals will tell you it’s in South Hill), the condo development will feature just 22 “condo estate” homes … so you had better act fast (and while you’re at it, check between the couch cushions for any loose change).

Featuring the design of master-builder Simon Hirsh and the interior approach of Lori Morris—the designer of choice for the carriage class—200 Russell Hill is rich (like its buyers) and luxurious. Never concerned with doing more with less, Hirsh and Morris have created a look and feel for 200 Russell Hill befitting a King, Queen or Prince (God rest his soul).

A recent press release from Hirsh Development Group described Morris as being “well known among Toronto’s most demanding clientele for creating one-of-a-kind masterpieces of elegance, indulgence and romance … Her designs are transportive. Every corner is indulged by detail, every hand-selected texture bathed in intrigue and grandeur. Her singular design aesthetic, and exclusive reputation for the fine finishing is shared by the home owners for whom she is designing 200 Russell Hill.”

While those who choose to live at 200 Russell Hill will probably winter in Boca, summer in Muskoka and weekend on the golf course, there will be times these purchasers find their leisure moments unfulfilled. Anticipating these times, Morris and Hirsh Developments have ensured residents can fill their free time without ever leaving home.

Amenities will include a gym, spa, theatre and wine bar, although this may be more than the average 200 Russell Hill resident really needs … which leads us to ask: When you have everything, do you really need more?

The developers of 200 Russell Hill believe that for less than two dozen of Toronto’s most fortunate real estate purchasers, the answer will always be yes.
